I believe everything needs to be constantly questioned. It is a good thing to question the value of new technology and how it will impact our lives. This does not mean that people will not take it up it is just the process some of us need to go through.

i was thinking today when I was running that this technology is going to be used regardless and as you are doing it is best to see its use in a beneficial way.

I have now seen some good applications of twitter in podcasts, using twitter the way people use to call in on talk back radio.

Things arise and he lets them come;
things disappear and he lets them go.
he has but doesn't possess,
acts but doesn't expect.
When his work is done, he forgets it.
That is why it lasts forever.

Hi Plu,

I think you've made a mistake.

"Been struggling with convincing the people of the benefits of social media…."

The thing is, it isn't your job to convince them. All you can do is show them what you do, how you use it, and share its benefits for you.

After that, it is completely up to them... back to SWSWSW... some will, some won't, so what?

Don't be discouraged - you continually encourage plenty who do appreciate what you do... the rest are just missing out!
